Well done to Jambouree’s Teenah Bee and David Thomson for their performances with the Scots Opera Company at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in September 2024. Cast as witches for the outdoor performance of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, we can only imagine the challenges they face getting into character!

The production was performed in both Scots and Gaelic – and to great effect. One press review remarked, “the professional voices mixed well with the excellent amateur ones.”

Teenah and David had appeared with the Scots Opera Project earlier this summer at Perth Theatre in a production of the Magic Flute.
