An anthology of poetry, prose and music to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War can be seen at St John’s Kirk, here in Perth, on Sunday, November 2nd at 3pm. A moving tribute to those who gave their lives to serve their country, LEST WE FORGET was devised and compiled by Lesley Mackie and Terry Wale, who will also appear alongside Andrew Barrett, Simon Gordon and the Jambouree Choir, led by Edna Auld. Tickets for this event are priced at £10, the proceeds from which will be donated to SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) and to SCAA (Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance), and are on sale at the Concorde Music shop at 15 Scott Street.
